Sorry if this is a dumb or stupid question, But I use mIRC as a bot, and SwiftIRC for my normal nick, before I use my bot commands I would dual login and test them out. Now when i try this said your limit has been exceed and I am just wondering why? Quote: (21:49:02) -OperServ- The session limit for your host has been exceeded.- (21:49:02) * You were disconnected from the server by operator SwiftIRC (Reason: hub2!services!OperServ!OperServ (Session limit exceeded)) (21:49:02) * Closing Link: Heoaw hub2.eu.SwiftIRC.net (Killed (OperServ (Session limit exceeded))) (21:49:02) * Disconnected, type /reconnect to reconnect

The session limit on SwiftIRC is currently set to 3. Suggestions have been made on increasing the limit, but have been declined for various reasons. Since you're not suggesting anything on the limit, and just asking a question, I'm moving this topic to the help section.

If the limit is three, how come when i join on mIRC and then try to get on SwiftIRC via SwiftKit...I get that error message? Thanks for the help so far. Coz | Mike

Are there any other people in your household that use SwiftIRC? Sessions refer to the amount of times a specific IP is connected to our server. So if you don't have anyone in your household that's connected other than you, then is it possible that you have two sessions on one client, and one on another?

Then yeah, that's a definite possibility.
