Re: #Irchelp bot

Just don't make it reply to that, just only do like "how*register*chan*" -> /cs register # blabla and "how*register*nick*" -> ns register blabla. The pro's outweigh the cons. Why not test it for a (few) week(s), and see how it is? The simple answer, is because we tried it (twice...

Re: #Irchelp bot

For once I think Grant gave you a serious response. To reiterate what Grant said, the SwiftIRC Wiki has much more in depth help than you will ever get from a bot. Obviously users don't like looking at the BotServ, ChanServ, and NickServ built-in help modules, and usually any answer from a Bot would...

Re: jaytea's big text

That nubcake Patje spammed me a bit with this the other day and told me about how cool this is, and I have to agree.

Once again, another well made piece of msl-greatness jaytea :P

Re: RegexPal - regular expression tester dialog

Would be a lot cooler to expand this to where the text actually gets highlighted when it matches :>

Nice work either way.

Re: Phishing Link filters - Suggestion to filter queries

Hi,

We actively do our best to filter those kinds of links as fast as they are reported to us. Next time, join #support and speak to us as quickly as possible so that we can filter any new ones.

Re: /Ignore (nick)

mIRC's /ignore is client side, meaning that the server still routes the message to the client, but mIRC processing them against in internal ignore list.

the /silence command is server side, so the server doesn't send any message to the recipient if the sender is on the silence list.

Re: /Ignore (nick)

I'd also like to add to what Patje said: Silence is only usable up to 10 times per session (unless it has changed). Silence only works for notices and private messages. SwiftKit doesn't output any confirmation, but you must be sure all PMs with the user are closed mIRC has a built in /ignore which i...

Grand Exchange Update Alert

At the request of a #msl user here is a full GE Update Alerter based off Vectra's parser systems. * As a side note, feel free to change the repetition in the timer, however abuse will have your IP banned from the parsers. ** Also please leave the User-Agent intact so I can track what networks this i...

Re: EdgeBot - a new IRC bot, #EdgeBot

It looks like an interesting bot, seems rather new. Why don't you expand on your initial post with some information about the game, possibly the goal and purpose?

Looks interesting, good luck with it.

lol, that's actually a pretty interesting idea, I'd love to see a bot that makes use of channels like that.
