big issue with irc server

Hi

Are you sure that it no longer happens when you connect to 66.225.200.50? Bear in mind that irc.swiftirc.net will get you to a different server every now and then.

Unless you went downloading files or anything like that then I'd say it's unlikely that you've been infected or packet sniffed.

i'm online and everything is fine at the moment i've just saved it to log into imperial.ca.us.swiftirc.net

Hi

We believe this was down to AOL blocking/redirecting traffic to one of our IP addresses. This is most likely because the IP was previously used for some malicious purpose.
